   Does anyone know if the vin is located anywhere other than the left A-piller vin plate on a 49 Plymouth P18? Also any source for repro Mopar vin plate..Thanx Dave

   You are correct about the left dooe pillar.. My '50 also has one on the firewall drivers side about 8 inches down from the windsheild.
