If it is a 239 Y block, there are several options, none of which are exceptionally easy to do, but possible. ***uming it is a Y block, we'll also need to know a bit about the vehicle it's in- car or truck; the distributor & existing carburetor; and, if you know, whether any of these parts have been swapped in (or out). In other words, is it the original engine to this car? Does it have the original parts to the engine in terms of the distributor & carburetor?
