    Nice work.
People really don't know what it takes to do the custom work.

Very nice! Just turning a 4 door into a 2 door is cool, but the flow really puts the project over the top. I dig it!

The car is coming along great. Kinda a dumb question, but what do the rest of the panal clamps your using look like . I like the way they fit and hold the panal together. They look like something that could be made pretty easy? Or if there cheap enough, where can they be bought? Thanks

    heres an update.....
got the bracing all in ....kind of mimiced the original hardtop design.the piece in the center is just temporary...because i m not sure how much of the hump ill have to cut out when i cut out my floor for the 4 link........i figure when i rebuild the floor this will be a perfect riser to move the new floor up.........

now when i say finished...i mean the structural part of it ...i plan on caping the gaping holes and kind of rounding them off as well as the bottome where it meets the floor....and also when i figure out how much of the hump has to come out ill rebuild center part so it fits nicely and looks all as one piece...
the structure is completly welded up and is "stitch welded" to the floors.
i will be making my own arm rest structures out of aluminum or sheet metal around this area to cover all the bracing (like in a stock hard top) these will be covered in the end.....

Looks unreal man, nice work. I've got a 54 that needs some surgery like that!

    Keep us updated

  29. Wow! That is a huge undertaking. The roof looks awesome and I can't wait to see the doors turn out the same way. Excellent work!
Will it still resemble a Pontiac when you're done or smoothed off all the way?
Keep up the good work and please keep us posted

its still gonna retain some of the pontiac look.....the belt line trim will remaing pontiac with fleetline end pieces.....and im going to run 49-50 pontiac sombreros on it ....and the dash and all that will still be pontiac.....the steering wheel will actually be out of a 51 canadian pontiac...(basically a chevy wheel with a cool indian emblem....
