  6. I'd really like to see this thread keep going.
I'll be at my moms throwing my little cousins around in the pool,,eatin & giving the kids rides in my bucket.
I LOVE Fireworks,& it ****s to live in the city with no place to go bananas lighting them off.
You guys in the country where you can blow stuff up have it made!
Check this out,,,,I live about a mile from where this occured & it woke us up.
Scroll down a little ways to where it says "Lakewood Calif".
I drove by the house a few days after it went off & couldn't believe what I was seeing.

With this guy out of the picture,I'm hoping my street doesn't look like Vietnam again this year.Last year a rocket landed in my boat & caught a beach towel on fire.
Have a safe one guys & gals!

I'm hopping in Big Olds and heading to the familys vacation place on Lake Huron about 3 hours north of home. There's two hundred feet of private white sandy beach, cousins with boats and jetskis and bonfires at nite. Will hang out there for a long weekend with my sister and nephew. Lots of Aunts, Uncles and cousins all have places there so it's a real family affair. HUGE fireworks display and a downhome 4th of July parade.

Two downsides, no cell phone access and NO INTERNET!
Will she survive?? Stay tuned for further updates.:D

Look, you don't need nothin' fancy to go swimming....do the redneck pool. One jumbo tarp, one pickup bed (What, no pickemup? Get a rope!) and a hose, and you're in Hawg Heaven. Sheeit, one time in NC we used an innertube and a bowl and made a floating food tray, complete with shrimp ****tail, just like the rich folks uptown!!!

  9. Cool,,,keep it going.
    Pictures people,,,,pictures!

well if the weather is good (its the middle of winter here folks) I will probably head into Aucklands waterfront for the 4th July cruise night and fireworks put on by a local rodder.

Will be making my annual 4th of July parade run through Sierra Madre in their Rose Parade float ch***is. Nearly finished with this year's mods and we've already started on the '07 superstructure, and the town likes to see'er.

well..the bad part is myhelper knows only how to use one tool...but she uses it really well.

unfortunately that tool isnt a bondo spreader and sanding block or welder. hahaha

what can i say, i like to win :)

  19. We are headed tyo our lake/cabin to mow(most likely repairing mower too.) and do up keep on two log cabins and fish a little ..having the dog retrieve from off the dock..
it may just be the two of us so it will be pretty quiet
the 4 days of btt50's are still vivid ...
any other shows like Goodguys Des Moines or local smaller ones just does not compare..
    Iola next weekend tho
we will be checkin for local farm auctions over the weekend ? ...
the other lake residents spend thier money on fireworks from outstate ...
a lot of rubber neckin to catch it all all each nite even when out on the water in the boat to be away from *****ers

its supposed to hot so being by the lake will be better

REMEMBER TO NOT FOLLOW FIREWORKS DIRECTIONS POLISHLY
"LAY ON GROUND... LIGHT FUSE .. MOVE AWAY"
DOES NOT MEAN THE HUMAN LAYS ON GROUND.. HOLDS DEVICE WHILE LIGHTING FUSE AND THEN TRY TO GET UP AND CARRY LIT DEVICE TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION!

    I WARNED YOU!!

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!try not to get to drunk!!!;)

  22. Poop!!! I'm working - I gots me a stack o' appraisal reports to complete. My job is either feast or famine. This weekend, of course, is feast. That's OK I suppose, my boys are with their mom, the girlfriend is not talking to me, nor I her, so I can get some stuff gone.

Speaking of that, back to work... boo hoo for me. have a safe and greasy one.

I'm in San Diego and I have nothing going on. A friend is getting married in the morning (she wants fireworks on her anniversary for the rest of her life)... but after that - nada.

Anyone doing anything fun here in San Diego?
