Just racking my brain on how to route the fuel line from the fuel block on a SBC w/ weiand 4x2's without it looking messy?

    Any pic's would help!

I have a thing for the old hexagonal fuel logs for multiple carbs. They just have that old look and you don't have a bunch of floppy hoses running all over.

It's pretty easy to make a log type fuel block out of tubing. I got this material at Home Depot.

Hello..I would use banjo fittings on carbs..You'll only have two lines going to your fuel block..The fuel can be for three carbs and the first outlet by the fuel inlet can be your gauge. You'll get accurate readings to your carbs...Just an idea..

i used the original fittings in the carbs and cut the flared end off with a tubing cutter and bought some compression fittings for 3/8 lint from the hardware store and then on the other end used compression with male npt to screw into the fuel log. i used stainless tubing for the lines.

You can simplify that last suggestion even further...
Get some Ford fittings, still available at NAPA, and a handful of preformed 1/4" brakelines and tees for the same. cut brakelines, slide on Ford fitting on cut end, bend to suit, screw formed end into beake Tee. Everything can be done easily, quickly, and without leaks, and with enough tees you can plumb any number of carbs.

Dickster....that first pic looks good. That's what I was thinking of doing....Is that just brake line? And is that Eelco linkage???

Also, how are you guys supporting the long throttle shaft extensions????

Sc, that's polished aluminum fuel line and the linkage is custom Dickster. I make my own, with Eelco parts of course. On the long throttle shafts simply make a collar with 2 set screws and a longer shaft the same size as the throttle shaft and attach so they are all out equally to the side.

    Nice setup.....
On the throttle....I meant how are ya supporting the end of the extension, 'cause doesn't the extensions 'wiggle' up down/side & side to side some when throttle is applied???? And put excessive load/wear on the carb throttle shafts with the extensions??? At least that's what I've 'heard'.....
I'm thinkin' a brace with 4 holes that slid over all four throttle shafts....to keep it all smooth and in tune.....
I drive my PU ALOT, and if the long throttleshafts "walk around", even a little bit, it'll be constant tuning.....and frustrating.....I don't want to have to carry my Uni-Synch in my truck....hahahaha!!!!

Josh, you have the right idea, you can simply make a plate support bar out of aluminum so as not to have any weight but I think it don't look for shit and I just make sure the right had carbs are tight enough not to wiggle. You gottsa remember that your linkage offers somewhat of support. Haven't had any problems as yet. But, there is always a first time.
