I have been looking for an anvil for years, they usually way out of my price range, good to see that you got a great deal!!

 

ya, i was really happy with the price....not in the best shape but it will do, i'm wondering if i shouldnt work on it because of the potential collect ability and history of it.....i may see if a anvil collector would want to trade for a more modern horned anvil that would better fit my needs

 

They bring a $1/lb around here. Great score.

 

What a nice find. I have been using a piece of rail road rail for years because I cant find a anvil that is affordable. Great score!!
