Hot Rods 5 bucks a gear ? Race for pink slips ? Did that really happen ?

Now at 74 my need for speed has calmed down, recently took my 2 hobby cars (both OT) out of Winter storage, took them for a ride and had to Make sure they ran properly, Sooooo. I stretched their legs some just to be sure and the thrill is still there. LOL
