Hot Rods 5 carb manifold ?

    This was at The Muddy River Run in Ft. Wayne Saturday.A McGurk manifold.I personally have never seen one,are they somewhat rare?:rolleyes: Giz'

    They are available through Patrick's down in Casa Grande, AZ. as a repop for GMCs only.

    I've seen several of them over the years, not that rare. You could cap off two or three carb openings and have a 2 or 3 carb intake if desired.

    Only the raddest intake for a straight six!!! Check out the TRJ article with the Iacono roadster. I think it was running that intake before switching over to a Hilborn. Dave Houston's '31 Chevy coupe also runs one.

    Hello, here is a Howard 5x2, I built this several years ago for a guy in S.F. the intake fits on a 302..

    The manifolds from Patrick's are Howard, that's a McGurk which I am sure is quite rare.

    Love the look of those. But I'm sure stomping on those would be like my 90 year old friend says, "flushing a toilet" with all 5 carbs going.
