I just got done reading the seat belt posts im pretty scared now ive got a model a pickup daly driver to and from school every day and am thinking about instauling a 5 point. I had lap belts and took them out wile in the proces of choping and gave them to my brother her he has a 56 merc he is 15 getting his license soon.
Im 17 still got a lotta livin to do and am thinking about a 5 point would it work? Ive got a bench would I be safer with that than a lap belt ive been toled yes and no.
For being so yong Ive seen alot my grandpa (Don Skaggs for you indy racers) races every weekend I was was rased at the small tracks in indy saw alot of people die.

  2. Personaly I don't care for a harness unless I've got a roll bar/cage. If its gonna turtle on me I want to be able to lay down in the seat.

Just do the lap and shoulder belts. The submarine belt isn't needed, besides being uncomfortable too!If you run across a couple extra sets I 'd be intrested in 'em for my project. AL

I offered these out of date 5 point, Y harness belts on another post for $10.00 to your door, and there were no takers. PM me if you want them.
