Heres the story , I bought this car in 92 out of a s**** yard and it sat for awhile. I sold it to a guy because it was in rough shape, I mean rough. He replaced some metal put a new axle in the front, the old one was podged in. And added new rear springs. It sat about this high in the front but was alittle lower in the rear. He calls me and says you want that old coupe back. Im like hell yes what the price? He says he will trade me for this mini bike I paid 50 bucks for! The only thing was he kept the 9 inch out he had put under it. So rear end is a temp. I hope these load , dont think I did a bad trade
I would love to be able to trade someone a mini-bike for anything like that! Sits a little high in the back in my opinion, but those cragers look pretty nice, did he put those on or did you? But hell yeah thats a good trade!!!
No those were in my garage , I put those on to move it , will probably leave them on . I am going to put a 327 and glide in it after some body work and a new rear end . get the rear down a bit and take it to terre haute drag strip and play
Sounds like an idea, still can't believe you got it back for a 50 dollar mini-bike... I want a deal like that!
It was a great deal, I got an extra set of fenders , He took all the gl*** but the door gl*** out . Put new rockers inner and outer new lower quarters in a new panel below the trunk a new floor in the trunk and new p***enger side floor in. I have some work to do yet . But I think this will be my sons when we are done with it, He loves the thing
All the hard work looks done. Moral of the story - if you have to sell a car you like, sell it to someone who you know will loose interest in it and claim first dibs to buy it back!
