I thought that the fabric was old drapes at first. It could work, depending on what you plans are for the exterior finish. Tom
You have a girlfriend AND you still have time to get all of this work done!!! What is your secret? Teach me oh wise one. My wife keeps me under lock and key.
I agree. It has almost morphed into a Fleetline(fastback). I certainly can appriciate the amount of work that has been done though.
yea the seats are kinda funky, try getting some hog rings to tighten everything up a little. they worked great for me with some mexican blankets i love the rest of the car!!! and i dig the rear quarters too.
No worries on the seats as there just thrown on and nothing is fasened in yet have to tighten all the material up up yet just threw it in there the night before I jetted off to BC. Going to try to finish up the car this week I hope
Well taking for ever to get the little ends done but finished the exhaust and took her for a spin tonight runs good. Carb needs a little tuning and just have to clean up the wiring and airlines then find some door handles and window cranks. but she's pretty much ready to rock. Anyways back to the pictures got lots this round... As artsy-fartsy as I can get lol
man! look at the very first pic on the first page before and after....DAMN! this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every pic has snow in it!!! Does it ever stop snowing up there haha Great looking car when i first saw it i thought it was pretty rough but you took that car from the field to a show peice in a matter of months great work your a great car builder.
Wow, she's lookin' killer! Great to see the car outside and running, but jumpin' Jesus on a pogo stick, those last three pics almost put me in a neck brace-HA! SOOOO glad you decided to run the exhaust through the bumper--did you see last month's Rod and Custom? This cat did pretty much the same deal and it absolutely made the car. Great work, you are a monster!
Nice work hoitink, show's what a man can do with no fear, ambition, and 4 months with snow on the ground. Now you're like the rest of us up here, just waiting for the damn snow to leave.
Great craftmanship, extreeeeeemly fine style, super pics. Well thought -out comments from HAMBers, disagreeing without anyone getting out of joint is why this old guy likes this bunch. good stuff .....bigern
hmm.....nice pics in the snow.....but no snow driftin? you have more self control than i do. i would have had to get a few victory donuts after gettin it that far. maybe once you get that carb sorted out?
holly cr*p Brent, looks awesome!!! love the body lines! can`t wait to see that thing cruising around!
Good too see some very classy rides coming out of the prairies! I'm not knocking your work at all, lord knows I can't talk, but something about the flow between the roof and the deck looks off to me... like maybe the deck was pancaked a little too much... I dunno. Anyways, really killer work man! Are you bringing it too SuperRun in Red Deer this summer?
I hav been addicted to this thread since my brother brought it to my attention. You truly are creating a kick A$$ kustum. KILLA KAR MAN!!!
Un-frikkin-believable!! I'm curious as to how many beers have been invested in this build. Awesome work, man.
im gonna sound like a dick saying this, but...i think the front bumper and taillights are killing ya! a lot of amazing work, dont get me wrong.
Here I go again nit pickin, but in the straight on front view the bumper ends are drooping. I think you need to pie cut or V notch the center, and bring those ends up a little till they're level. I really like this car, it's just that, like all things, the nearer to perfect it becomes, the more the little problems stand out.
