Hot Rods 50 chevy gasser build

Here we are less than 20 days away from the h.a.m.b. Drags, i , along with my buddies are trying to get this car done by then. We have come along way in the past week, but still tons of fab work left to be completed. Please chime in with your support, suggestions, criticism, whatever. Whatever happens between now and then doesn't really matter, we are gonna be there with bells on. Rick

Good luck with it. The pic with it staring down the blazer cracks me up for some reason.

 

Motor is almost done! Machine shop had some surprises that I wasn't expecting, but I guess it is a good time to upgrade. This motor with a single carb and vortec heads went an 11.80 in our nova wagon, in full street trim and a single trac. Bigger heads, bigger intake, bigger pistons, lots of engine setback. Hoping for wheelies, YEAAAA!
