I did it! As a HAMB FNG I bought my new baby and had her shipped to New Orleans. She's a well restored black '50 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Bel Air on the outside. On the inside she sports a Chevy small block with Carter AFB Compe***ion 625 cfm carb, automatic ******, Mustang II front suspension, air bags, a/c, power steering, etc. The only problem is that I didn't build it and I don't yet know much more about it than what I just said. I'll learn more by crawling over, under around and through, but I'd sure like to take a short cut. I do know that the restoration and running gear change was done about 10 years ago for Anthony "Cheech" DiBuduo who lived in Fresno. It was entered in (and supposedly won something at) the '02 Pismo Beach Car Show, possibly by Gene Francis. If there's anybody out there who knows anything about this car, especially about the work done to it, please let me know
yep, need pics. congrats on new ride. nothing wrong buying a done car. can always do some stuff to make it yours.
Got pics from old owner (see my avatar) but wanna do my own. Will try to post 'em in the next couple of days.
It looks pretty slick but I hope a wheel and tire change is in the works if you haven't done it already.
