I found a 50 ford sedan in my price range but lacking an engine. Anyone know of mounts made to put a smallblock ford or chevy in or do I need to fab my own? Anyone done this? Advise or suggestions? Thanks for reading.

Jamco also sells a kit for a small block ford! I helped my dad do one in his 50 four door!!

Go to www.shoebox.com . You will find it is the best site around for 1949-51 Fords. They have the largest supply of parts for these cars you will find. Also very friendly folks on their discussion forum.

We do have them. Our kit uses GM motor mounts and bolts to 3 holes that are already in your crossmember.
