Projects 50 Ford hinges?

I have bought a set of 50 ford hinges for my A coupe. I have them mounted but they keep the deck lid from being flesh with the window filler panel. Anybody else run these. I really like them. I used a wood door shim and made it work that way. Was thinking of making one from aluminum and polishing it so it would not be so noticeable.

Haha ^ That's my car. It's not like that anymore. I shimmed the decklid down and molded a lip to the hinge. I'm not sure I'm into it yet. I might ditch them for something else.
