Hi Folks, I had my friend to replace the Firestone bags in front with 2'' dropped coil springs to get it registered here in Norway ( they would not approve the bags without docs). As I'm out of city for work, I've not seen it other than the attached photo. The suspension should be stock and with the 2'' dropped springs the ground clearance from front cross member is just above 3'' which was surprisingly low. I have installed 3'' dropped leaf springs rear and the car is lower in front than rear. Is this the height I should expect with 2'' dropped coil springs? No adjustment has been done, so the wheel alignment is out of tune for the moment as shown. Thanks, Viggo Oslo- Norway
Yeah. Don't go lower. That thing is cool.....any more pics? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I believe that is much lower than 2" from stock. You probably have dropped uprights and don't know it - they look stock. Either that or the spring plate is lower than original on the lower A-arms. Every inch on the spring plate translates to about 2.5-3 inches of drop. It looks good in photos but if it is too low to drive happily on your roads you could put stock springs in to bring it up a couple inches. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
