What does it take to install a firewall mounted master cylinder on a 50 Pontiac with manual transmission? I know this may be somewhat of a vague question but I don't really know how to phrase it.
The 50 came with a master cylinder mounted under the floor and I was thinking about relocating it to the firewall. I know the heater on the firewall will have to come off but I don't really need heat down here anyway.
Thanks, in advance for any and all help.

Someone smarter than me will hopefully come along... But until then. I would find me a swinging pedal ***y of some sort. Then just a m/c and some lines.

This is what I did in my '49 Chevy, and I love it! Plug and play, with a slight modification for the pedals, because they sit a bit higher. Check out my Build Thread for details. IMG_0572.JPG
