50 shoebox

I just recently bought a 50 shoebox for 500 bones
If you ask me I'd say it straight with little rust
But I am having some problems with the starter
It spins but does not engage the flywheel
I took it out to see what was up the bindex and
Bolts look good maybe a little dirty so I cleaned it
Up and put it back in and no luck so I took it out
Again and cleaned it again an did not lube it still
No luck so I am trying to get som in formation
On a so called " bracket the bolts to the oil pan"
Someone said that could cause the same problem
But I don't know what there talking about can anyone
Help me out?????

Saved and last but not least I just bought my 50 shoebox
So I have something to do wile I'm laid off
It's a promising little car when I figure out this
Site I will try to post more and maybe I can find
Out how to boat pictures....
