Friend of mine found a coupe that the guy wants $500, my buddy thinks this is too steep for the condition of the car. I say $500 is fair no matter what the condition, as long as the majority of the parts are there. What do you say? ~FarmCal
What kind of coupe? Those GM's and Chryslers had alot of wood and once that **** goes so does the rest.
Alright fellas, it is a Ford Motor Company Model A 5 window coupe...and I have not seen it yet, but I will keep you posted. FarmCal
If you dont grab it up, well, you just arent right.. I would be running to that guys place with $500 right now. GO!!!
As far as I've ever seen or read, all Model A coupes were 5 windows.Which in any case, makes my HAMB name redundant(but I started out to build a '32,just ended up with a '31). Still, $500 seems cheap for a steel body. Just give the seller $750 so you can sleep at night. No,really, just go buy it NOW.
$500 for a steel model a coupe body.................is the seller freaking nuts?? PM me the sellers phone number so I can tell him how crazy he is for asking such a ridiculous price for such an undesirable car
The main problem with Model A coupes is that they look too ****in mean. Your friend should probably trade it for a roadster.
All "A" coupes are 5 windowed. 3 windows didnt show until 32. At a grand, mine was a steal. I was offered $3500 and or 2 running sedans for mine when it was still barn fresh.
Ask nosurf if he'd have paid $500 for his....and you coulda gotten one for around $600 not too long ago FROM THIS VERY BOARD.
Baaahhhh, who'd ever want one of those???? That guys asking waayyyy to much, why don't you give me his number so I can tell him off personnely... ... .
