I am building a 60's style Triumph drag bike and was looking for any vintage pictures of old drag bikes preferably 50's, 60's era. Does anyone have any? Triumph, BSA, Harley, Norton, Ariel, Matchless,Vincent, Indian or any others I didnt name. I have looked on the internet but there are not many out there.

Cool Thanks.... I also forgot to add in the original post does any one know where you can get vintage style drag slicks for bikes, does any one make them or have any new old stock tires? Like a 4.00-18 . I havent found any thing out there I don't even think the modern slick builders like M&H , Good Year or Hoosier make any in the vintage sizes there all big Pro Stock size. Does anyone know if there are any places that can recap a tire with the vintage piecrust tread?

dig around on caferacer.net. or dragbike.com, they have some vintage race coverage, you may find an old racer or nostalgia racer?

Sounds neat - I am trying really hard not to buy a Triumph and do something like that :)

Here's a couple at the NHRA museum ...
