With postwar Mopars gaining in popularity, (and a few rockin' threads here featuring mopar builds) it would be nice to see examples of 50's built postwar Mopars. Here are a few I've seen here and there; (Posted by SpecialDeluxe) George Cerny's (From Rikster's site)
I posted these on the Rod & Wheelers thread too. Hope it's ok to put them up here. Phil Macharella?? and his four door. RodP
Excellent photos! I find it interesting that of the 4 customs we've collected here, none were 2drs. Anyone else have anything????
Any chance to show off my car. She's in pieces right now, but will be getting a 460 Ford and losing some inches out of the top.
Heres my 48 Dodge Custom conv..supposedly built in Nor Cal ? Late 50's or very early 60's...anyone recognize it?????
I just found this thread. According to what I see, I may have stumbled across a real gem with my '52 Dodge 4 dr I just bought. Damn, I had no idea that they could look THIS good. I defy anyone to say that 4 doors don't make good customs. Here's mine. I'm pumped.
I've had this '50 since 1987 when I was 14 years old. It was a stocker then. My dad taught me TONS!!! Chopped, dropped and (gasp, don't tell the Mopar guys) small block Chevy powered! It's currently awaiting a fuel pump and new tires.... Two of the pix are from a few years ago when I dug it out of storage to bring it to my home garage. The one with all the guys is from highschool in 1990. Man I dig these cars!!!
My '52 Coronet. Currently all stock except for lowering and a Holley/Weber 2 bbl. Will be chopped like the photoshop pic and a 5 speed once the snow flies.
