Hi all. I'm an Admin on the Kurtis Kraft Facebook group and a fella had a posting about a possible Kurtis Special he owned back in the 70's, that he was hoping to find out if it still existed. Here's what he has stumped us with, and I'm hoping it may ring a bell with one of you.

"I had, in the early to mid 1970s a sports car, registered in CA as a Kurtis-Kraft.... I bought it from a friend and sold it to another friend (at a later date) in San Fernando Valley.... It had a fiberglass body, small block Chevy OHV V8 ( I think a 301 CI) With a Man-a-fre intake, and 4-2 bbl carbs... It had a Halibrand Quick Change rearend, with locked differential... It had an IRS, with inboard drum brakes... 4 spd manual trans... Halibrand mags all the way around, and front exit exhaust with side-pipes.... I have been looking for pictures of the car, but haven't been able to find any, yet... My two friends, that I bought and sold to, are long gone... I would really like to find some info on this car..ls it an original KK? Kit car? Modified?... Man, do I wish I still had it... Any help out there?"

He's looking for pictures from back in his days, but so far no luck. Thanks for your time.
