I'd like one of these with a 4 speed and tri power.

Those are probably my favorite stock ones. Can't go wrong with a Merc chop top though. That Packard is nice too. Any 55+ chops on here?

Thanks!!! I actually found the car in the hamb cl***ifieds. I'm trying to figure out if she's lucky because i bought her the '51, or if i'm lucky for marrying somebody who'd want a '51. Hell, she even loves my '27, although she's afraid to drive it...which is why she wanted the '51. Wanted something she can drive.

Bought it as a daily driver for her too.

Man thats too cool! I got myself a lady who also wants an old car to drive daily, so I will be fulfilling that before it wears off! haha

I cant imagine having a girl that didnt like or appreciate old cars.. i guess both me and you are some of the lucky ones!

52 customline, just replaced the bottom 6 inches of the entire car. Nosed, decked, shaved everything else n painted the interior sheetmetal pearl white. Did the work myself, just got it back on the road a couple weeks ago and now I can't get out of it!

Here are a couple pics of my 54. Once it warms up it'll get drop coils and some new tires.
I've got fender skirts for the car and trailer, haven't decided if I'll use them or not.

I'm a "poster". I started as a HT fan in the 60s but the older I got the more I like the cheap 2drs. Back in the 60s I went to the junkyard and got a push ****on radio and deluxe heater for my moms 58 Biscayne. I **** canned the radio and heater for this one.:D

Almost all of our pre-1955 cars are post cars - it's not like they were rare or anything. I love'em and have two, but I'm just saying that they don't really need their own photo thread unless we're talking 1955-1964. (I love '60s post cars. Now THAT would be a photo thread worth starting!)

Thanks for the compliment I definately want to make it to Beaver and have hopes of going to Mokan but I'm already about 2 years behind schedule and I may [will] have alot of bugs to iron out once I get it on the road. I'm not to speedy getting things accomplished.

Never quite understood the term. I know I never got a pair of shoes in a shoebox that looked anywhere near as good as that!

    Here's my '55 Olds (Plain) "88"

Found in a garage with a 1962 Inspection sticker on the windshield. Strange car with an Autronic Eye and Power bench seat, but Standard Shift and no power steering

Have a 57 Olds 371 Engine that I plan on running in it - needs some parts (the engine) - car is complete minus the interior side panels and rear seat - have leads on these. Body is perfect - most rust free car I've ever run into on the east coast. Needs block & paint.

Would like to make it into a cl***ic "sleeper" - TriPower and Smittys with a plain jane exterior.
