50shoebx or 32 3window?

Debating to keep (and chop) my 50' shoebox or sell it and go for a 32'
3 window coupe. Suggestions.?

Do you have a lead on the 3 window?

 

Unless the '32 3W is an original and not a repop, keep your shoebox. If you're serious about chopping the '50 be sure you have the skills and help to do it right. '50 Ford's are really great and can be cool customs.

I would not chop it myself. Just starting to look into it.
Looking at a local 3w gl*** body & a 5w listed on ebay.

the shoebox looks pretty rad, i would really love to have mine back....but i would have to say that if you had a good solid lead on an origional 32 3 window, you would be a fool not to pick it up. a complete 3 windows will bring more money than even the nicest shoebox.

2nd. there is a local 32' 3W here locally for sale. It's a gl*** body.

 

As a 32 3W owner ... you might believe I would say 3W ... but I would rather have a steel shoebox over a fibergl*** anything.

SHOEBOX for sure,yet again i am partial to such vehicles.

 

You had me thinking until I read it was a fibergl*** car. Shoeboxes are still pretty plentiful so you could always redo another if you had the opportunity to get into a real steel 32 but I would hold onto that beauty over a fibergl*** car.

 

If you saw this shoebox in person, you wouldn't be asking that question. This is Eric Claptons and it is perfect.

Man....I'm going through this exact same thing right now. All I can say is you do what you have to do

 

I've had 2 shoeboxes and 2 32 5Ws (one gl*** and one steel). Loved them all but if I had to choose one it would be the steel 5W. And don't let the "it HAS to be steel to be any good" snobs tell you that you can't have a cool gl*** hot rod.

 

Looks like I should stick with what I have.. thanks for all the positive feedback.
Now it's time for it to go under the knife!

Nice steel Henry or gl*** who knows? I definitely would say keep the 50, but then again, I am biased.

 

art looks like you need to keep the shoebox, besides this is not the place to go to talk about fibergl*** cars! keep it real in steel, besides in case of a wreck, you wouldnt be diced like a tomato!lol! keep it and let frank chop it, and then buid a A coupe or sedan! like my buddy hvychevy said! the A's are plentiful enough!
