Technical 51 CADILLAC SERIES 62 BRAKE SHOES

    Does anyone know if the front and rear brake shoes are the same? If not, can someone part numbers and/or a link.. I can find 1951 shoes just not for a series 62.

    Oddly, the '51 apppears to be one year only. They are same F&R, and fit 61, 62, & 60 Special. Part #3630235
    Info from 1956 MoToR flat rate ...

    That is a factory GM part number. It looks like a 419 shoe fits the 60-61 series. I couldn't verify if it fits a 62.

    2. 1955/1956 Ford Mainline, Customline, Fairlane and wagons.
    3. Y-blocks
    4. I know its got four doors
    5. Ford Y Block

    The brakes are the same front and rear on every series except the 75. They had 12” diameter brakes while the rest had 11”.

    FYI. 419s do not fit a 1951 Series 62...419 on right compared to what I need on left...
