So the front leaf spring mounts turned out cool also. They kinda had to be stepped out to the sides a little because of the way the frame curves inward

With the springs mounted front and rear we set the kingpin angle, welded the axle to the perches, set the clip back on and rolled it out of the garage to take a look and some pics. I cant wait to drive this thing:D

Nope. I like em both ways, but I like uncut better. More of a street freak than a gasser I guess.

That car is so Tall. Is it just for looks or what.

TO each their own I guess but that was a really cool car and now it just looks hodge podge to me. did i mention that it is really tall looking. I think some radiused wheel arches and squat the ass end down about 6 inches as well as the front and you might have a "Tough" look going.

In my opinion it just looks goofy. Sorry for the Negative nancy but just sayin!

Lookin' good! You guys don't mess around! I like the fact that you gave it a new life. One question; Are you going to put fenderwell headers on it eventually? Those front fenderwells look awful empty.

I get it!!!!!!! and i like it. you did the right thing and it sits just right, Hang that clutch pedal back in it. cause they are alot more fun to drive around and scare this shit out of the treehuggers. And yes on the fenderwell headers (white)

  23. I like it! Are you planning on putting some kind of spreader bar across the front? It will strengthen the front end...

Looks like your having a great time ! May I suggest a couple of small things ....
It appears you need to centre the rear wheels in the arches ...
And Dave needs to fab you some new engine mounts ....
I think If you drop that hot motor in on the lego motors mounts it will land on the deck first time you stand on it !

Have fun and keep at it ...
