great job man, real tidy. i hate sanding w/ a passion, specially since i suck at slingin bondo, if it took you 2 or 3 passes it would take me double to have a perfect surface, ialways find more "holes" and inperfections that need more filler to fix.....aaaargh

Sorry to hear about that....what an awful thought. Yes the belts are going back in, I was kinda playing with that comment if you couldnt tell. You never know who will be riding along from kids to whomever else, I dont use them but i'd always want them to have the option. Thanx for the concern 48!

    The rear fenders bolted on

Front fenders are on, what a pain in the ass getting everything back and locked in and togther

It sounds like you're going to need an even longer break after she leaves !! you can tell the folks that you spent all your money on hotrods and women , and the rest you just wasted !!

    The truck looks fantastic, Eric!

Just curious, are the various trim pieces going to get the same Rust-oleum Aluminum paint treatment to match the grill? I've been fixed on the way that turned out ever since you posted that first pic of the grill bars after painting. I'm almost convinced to do the same to the bumpers and grill on my '53 Chrysler when the time comes for paint/body etc.

Keep up the great work and enjoy the weekend off and the company!

    PHill......Money well spent!:D

Jason, yes Im did the center strip to match. They kind of blend with the worn look of the badges, The bumpers are going to be cleaned up and Ill make sure there smooth then shoot them with spray bomb like the grill. I think it should all blend in pretty well. Plus its saving me a boat load of cash not going chrome!

Thanx Mike...btw, the quote cracked me up:p Im still laughing!

    Thanx .....me too!
    Thanx Nick...hows your project coming?

Thanx man, Im very happy with the look...it hides my inexperienced paint n body work along with hopefully hiding the dirt n dust from daily use while being parked outside everyday!
