Thanks guys...getting close! Dan (Oldtimer) stopped by tonight and went over a few things with the points eliminator ignition. Should have wiring finished tomorro! Then onto fuel lines etc! Oh yeah...and fix the effing dip stick tube I broke when pressing on it:mad:! It just may start before I head to Maine next week!

Scoot...They were 50 ft boxes and not 100, I actually used the whole 2 boxes!!! Reids does sell it by the foot! .75/foot

Onedge... Its asphault coated cloth wire loom, then friction tape (Cloth elec tape) the ends and joints, did my 54 in it and it just blends nicely!

Not to be gay, but it takes my breath away to see the truck come along so fast. Every time I go in the garage mine is mocking me. BTW, just got over a bout of heat exhaustion yesterday. I guess sandblasting runningboards for 4 hrs in 105 degree heat with a jacket/bluejeans/blasthood isnt a good idea.

Damn bro, thats pretty harsh:eek:! You guys have had a hot ass summer ive heard! I pushing hard to fire it before next week when I head to Maine for a week, then start work after that...so no more full time AD truck building:(
My running boards and both bumpers are the last items left that need some work before they bolt on, I dont thing im going to strip them either...just fix a few dents as there in good shape and spray the truck bed liner on them, bumpers will get smoothed and shot with bright metal spray bomb like grill!

Heres todays progress, All the interior wiring is complete along with all the lighting, the only wiring left is the starter, alternator an coil. Tomorro I will hopefully wrap all that up along woth the fuel, trans and water lines.

Fuse panel came out fairly neat...might get rid of the extra gauge wires coiled up in the back...I hate clutter:D

The wiring is now all done along with a bunch of little odds n ends, I got the door seal on and the doors hung but have to get them closing a bit better and install all the glass and panels. I have to finish the glove box door and speaker grill and install the wheel next.

I put the stereo deck under the seat and found a 600 wt motorcycle style amp n sub combo and mounted that next to it too

The rubber mat also installed along with some matting from the Home Depot for under and behind the seat.

The seat and headliner are in!
