Been on here a while and finally decided to put up a build thread of my 1951 more door Chevy. Plans so far 55 caddy caps, ply whites and two door conversion (chasing factory two door or coupe doors as well either in Aus or the states) Here's a couple of photos from the beginning Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Sweet! I like The stance. this is a great start. I will be replacing my rusty coupe doors down the road. Probably not worth the shipping or h***le, but if you can't track down a decent set They are yours if you're up for some metal work.
Oh dude you sir are a legend!!! Shoot me a message when your keen on getting rid of them and I'll work out postage and stuff like that greatly appreciated! Update wise on the Chevy been a long weekend running around chasing up parts from across the state and managed to pick up some sweet gear a rebuilt 235 blue flame out of a 57, 3sp greabox and bell housing to suit out of a running car, a torque tube diff and a super *****in original Fenton 3sp floor shifter off a good buddy! Finally got some time to work on my personal project not customers and started mocking up the ch***is. Running a hr Holden front end (Australian) 235 blue flame, 3sp, and just a stock torque tube diff. Thinking off running the rear leafs inside the ch***is rails anyone have any photos of this done. On first look it's going to sit too high on my g78 plys and not have enough suspension travel. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
