I've been lurking here for a couple of years now. I spent a week with a couple of HAMB members last Sept. during hotrod magazines dragweek, and have just now joined. For the last 25 years I've been drag and oval track racing. My current project is my daily driver a 1951 chevy truck, as of right now it is very orig. 216 c.i., closed driveshaft, 6 volt etc. Plans are for independant front suspension conversion a very mild sbc and 700R4 trans, with a goal of keeping a very unmodified appearance including interior, wheels and trim. Going to be driving the truck a few more months as is, until I gather more parts. Jason
