They usually have a pretty deep offset, too. I remember my Dad was ticked because he couldn't run his fender skirts on his '56 even though the rims were the same width (6") as the ones he pulled off. We also had them on a '50 Ford coupe back then, and it brought the tires right out to the fender edges just like on that Chevy. If you weren't in California I'd try to buy them off you cheap just to have some deep-offset wheels to run hubcaps on, but it wouldn't be worth the shipping to get them to Joplin.
