51 ford cluster.....

My old man has a 50 ford business coupe that he's switching out to a 51 dash. It looks like the guages are all electric including temp. Is there a off the shelf sending unit that will work or is it specific, and I guess I should mention it has a 400 Pontiac (I know... NOT... ford).

 

You need to use the stock Ford temp sender that matches the stock Ford gauge.

 

I'm pretty sure Mac's sells the sender Tedster is talking about

 

Amp gauge may be different..
