I have been working off and on for 12 years on a very rusty 51 Ford F1. Finally hung up my work for Ma Bell and now I have time to put this truck back together. The body is mostly stock, but I did fill in the front fenders and valance panel, got one solid front end now. I am in the process of replacing all of the stock door window hardware. Also, I am wiring in a new harness. The engine and transmission are not stock....I am using a 92 Ford TBird 5.0 engine and AOD transmission. New steering column from Summit. I am using one of their Fuel Injection harensses for a 91-93 Mustang GT. I would like to use the EEC unit from the TBird but I am not sure the EEC is compatable with the Mustang unit....I had to change out two plugs on the harness to connect into the TBird intake EGR stuff. Does anyone out there know if this will work? Advice is welcome. This is my first attempt to restore any type of vehicle. Also, I put in a Mustang II type front crossmember and ***ociated brake and Rack/[pinion equipment.
