Customs 51 ford shoebox

I have a 289 in my shoebox and plan on putting headers and doing the exhaust does anybody out there have any samples of headers or mufflers for sizes of exhaust so forth that they did on their shoe box

I went fairly quiet on my 302 with 2 inch pipes shotgun style. Headers are tight even for stock 5 liter style on the drivers side

 

I have a 302 in my sboebox and I am using stock fox-body Mustang headers on my shoebox , modified fox-body down/h-pipes to get them down under the car (can't use an h-pipe because of the handbrake bracket under the car) ,then I custom made the rest . I am using Jegs flowmaster knock-off mufflers. It sounds great. You can see pics and hear some videos in my build thread (link below).

 

If you can locate a set of early Mustang exhaust manifolds they work in tight areas. HRP
