51 merc suspension ???

hey guys i have a cuestion,i got a 51 merc and i am woandering is the stock suspension can work with air bags or should i get like a nova or camaro subframe,i want to put that car in the grownd,thanks!

I would think the front would work out good for airbags, having independent front suspension with coil springs, just replace the springs with bags. I think your Merc has leaf springs in the back, that'd be the part where you might want to replace the existing suspension with something else. A four link might do it. I don't think there's any need to put a stub on the front, though.
