51 Merc Update

Paint it black.

 

Black 51's are ugly.

You might look at the Ford Tbird(the new ones) Inspiration Yellow. It's not pale or brassy but just right.

Looks great! Frenched headlights will finish it off nicely. I think black/dark blue plus a white top will look eleganza!

Wow, I missed this thread until I went looking to see you've posted any updates lately, Jim. The Merc is looking absolutely awesome, and you must be psyched to see it outside and at a shoe to boot!!

I have to agree with the other guys about going with a dark color, yellow isn't going to work, besides there's already another yellow Merc ragtop running around!
