Projects 51 Merc windshield

I'm getting ready to replace the 2 windshield glass on my 51 Merc. Haven't started taking the pieces off yet but I was wondering. Do you install the glass and rubber from the inside or outside? No need to go to a lot of unnecessary work. Thanks for any suggestions.

Inside out use lots of soapy water it will make your job easier.

 

Also, when you are done, don't take it around the block untill you install the inside garnish moulding. The moulding holds the windshield in place and keeps it from crashing in your lap at about 50mph.
