Projects '51 Nash Statesman engine swap

Nash just got back from the paint shop today. These were the stock colors. Bumpers are at players, along with hood ornament and trunk escutcheon. Next will be interior.

You did a fine job on it...I also wanted one because they're so different. I bought a 53 and was standing, staring at it one day and realized it had a lot in common with the little metropolitan....except it was huge and had 4 doors!
I did a photo shop on it and it would have made a great big metro-type...er, car.
Lost storage and had to let it go ....

 

That's a super cool idea! I love it. A giant metro!

 

Beautiful build love what you did and the sleeper factor is truly ratcheted up.

We always called these cars Superman Cars. Because in the original black and white TV Superman series that is what the police drove.

 

The original thread poster you are quoting was from 2014 and he has not been here in 5 years.

 

The taxi cabs in the Fifth Element movie also had the same retro look to them.
