i was hoping to see a sectioned hood and may be a tilt front.
Like the leading edge of the hood. The fire wall & and inner fenders are top notch. To me ,rear of the top looks like 50 Ford

It seems Don has 10-man worth of talent; hot rod builder, kustom builder, photographer, visionary, computer genius, writer. Where does it end???? :)

  19. T-Riffic execution of the entire build. Been watching it for a long time. Really like all the lines..nicely done, my friend.
Question? how did you, or the owner, end up with choosing this color? I think it looks fine, just curious? Photo-shop involved? Keep us posted.

At first the owner wanted the car in satin finish with glossy jambs and engine compartment. His last car was black so, that was out. He picked up a blue business card from somewhere and liked the color. I sort of matched it to a paint chip and landed on that color.

With all the work that has gone into the car and specifically the body work we thought that it deserved shiny paint. After seeing the firewall shiny and pinstriped, it didn't take him long to decide to go for gloss.

It's still not done but, it looks like you could drive it away. Lots of little details to finish it up before it goes to the upholsterer. I couldn't resist hosing it off and pushing it outside for a few pictures after i got the outside chrome bolted on.

Very nice! Wish my work looked 1/2 that good. What color is that? Yeah, I know-dark blue. Think that would work on my project, even though paint is eons away right now. Anyhow, great work, great car.
