The old girl going in for surgery today. Hopefully Kenny (choprods) will take good care of her.

Here are some progress pics of the chop job. I really like the way its coming along. I don't like the severe slopes and the bulge above the rear window. I think moving the rear window forward will help this alot.

Oh ya....I forgot to mention that. I have my flat 8 rebuilt and just about ready to go. As soon as the chop gets finished up I plan on swapping the 8 in. I got offy heads and and 3 dueces. I will try to get some pictures of my motor up in the next day or two.

Shoeboxes or flathead sixes? I will make you a hell of a deal on this flat 6. Purrs like a kitten too.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I guess I might have to change the title, this car is snowballing a little out of the mild category.

I order online from Wicks. I was down in Highland doing some generator work earlier this year though. Great customer service.

That chop looks like it'll turn out just about perfect. Gonna be a nice shoebox.

Looks great! Did Kenny tell you how long he expects it to take, start to finish?

Sweet! That's got me thinking about chopping my Moredoor again... The only problem is getting it to him. It's a long way from Idaho to Missouri!

Smurf I thought we talked about this - you are going to use the '51 dash! Ha - either way this should be a pretty clean little car when you are done.

Anyone who is interested in that straight six, I can attest to the fact that it is a runner. No B.S. - one bump of the starter and she's up and running; unlike mine....sadly.

Keep the updates rolling - can't wait to see her back in the garage; we will have to christen the new chop with beer and 2x4 jenga!!
