thanks man! i can only take a lil credit for smoothing out a few parts. tristen biult this car from nothing.. but im sure in the near future he is going to need more work done , especially towards the end of the build, thats when i will pounce and make a deal... such as if you want to ever drive this car, between what you need me to do, and the parts i steal and hold hostage, IT WILL HAVE CANTED QUADS!!!
Push that junk out of the way and get your Olds inside...it's time to get going on a real car!! Nice job by the way, Tristen...keep the fire burning!!
Ya perfected polishin the rocket...and now you've come a long way polishin a turd, Honky!!! It's lookin great, but what's all that white stuff in the background???
funny you should ask that today!!! we are plannin a lil thrash at honkys house in the next few weeks...
Not much progress other than a different drivers door and bolting on front fenders. The crew is coming over to make fun of me in a couple of weeks so hopefully they will help me get back on track. Looks really good with fenders... Nice proportions
If you need another opinionated prick to make fun of you or just another set of hands let me know. Be happy to help if you need it.
Definately not stock rear glass. Lexan works great especially if you heat it in the oven and then lay it on the original for the right shape before cutting to size. Did it on a 5-window chop I did. No canted quads, I have done enough custom work but it will have a merc grill shell..
your obiously under duress, and incapable of making sound decisions for yourself!! so once again i submit the following "suggestion"
Hey dude, I did the dash myself but it was Glassguys suggestion to cover a piece of luan with a piece of vinyl and i had some black tuck n roll. Dave gave me some SEM white vinyl dye and voila. Dave also clear coated the dash for me as my paint was more satin before. The gloss looks the balls. I made a template for the shield and need to fit it with the gasket before I get new glass cut. I also chopped the garnish moldings and they need prepped and painted. The little things are keeping me motivated. I am still waiting for pics of one of your projects... Lets see em.
man its really lookin like a car now!!!! please post some more pics once that steering wheel and dash are in place.. i cant wait!!!
