Vertible59, interesting enough, I had a 1964 Galaxie and replaced its rag joint. This is a fantastic idea and now I have to try and source one. I have a 351W, by the way, the stock steering box is millimeters away from the manifold exhaust currently.
Does anyone know of a company that reproduces 52-54 customline floor pans? I have searched the net but google didn't help much. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
I just got my 52 Victoria 3 weeks ago. it belonged to an "old" lady who bought it for her husband as an anniversary present 25 years ago. He passed away 8 years ago and she decided to put it in the paper and sell it. It's a 3 speed V8 car and very solid. It was done in 1971 and i like it the way it is so probably mostly leave alone.
surplus supply company makes partial pans... other than EMS they are the only place that actually makes patch panels for them... lots of places to buy, but might as well get them from the maker

We have our '53 Crestline. Been in our family since almost brand new and plan on keeping it that way. It's a survivor...only 70k miles on her, interior is virtually spotless. 239 is being rebuilt as we speak, then it's off to paint...same color scheme. Love that look. Still in progress...might lower the front end a bit (those ford Aerostar coil springs are just too tempting). Apparently have to resize the pics before I can upload them...stay tuned.
