Hey Guys,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /><o></o> <o> </o> i have 52’ Buick and am putting in a Ron Francis wiring harness. <o></o> The kit is set up to use a newer style GM steering column. <o></o> I am using the original Buick column though. The turn signal switch has 6 wires coming of (diagram).<o></o> The Buick used to have 2 light bulbs each side. I am now using a single unit with a 2 filament bulb.<o></o> I got the old turn signal switch working but can’t figure out how to hook up the brake lights. When the turn signal is activated and I hit the brakes, the light just stays on and doesn’t flash like it should.<o></o>
Single bulb systems have the brake light power going through the turn signal switch. Your switch is not made to work that way. You could get a magic box like this.... http://www.ronfrancis.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SS-6
