Figured I would post up a few pictures of my first project. Here's my 52 chevy styleline. Moved it outside so it could be picked up for paint. Painting it the copper pearl flatz from kustom shop. Will post up pics when it gets done. Hoping it will turn out good. Going to have a white top with white interior. The rear bumper had to be worked with a lot to get it to form to the rear. It came from a 55 chevy front bumper. Really like the look of it. I fixed where it was pointed up so now it looks better than in the pictures.

The top is a carson "like" top I am making. All most done with it. Just need to finish the rear window. And NO I did not chop the windshield and will not be chopping the windshield on this car. :D On the next one I will for sure do the chop!

This is what I came up with to make sure the top will be secure. Works good as it pulls the top down and seals it nicely when latched down.

lots of good hard work. unique not to chop windshield but, understand with curved glass. more than 4" blocks will require some frame modifications-might look at aftermarket lowering springs or bite the bullet for bags

As this is my first project I decided not to chop the top as I could find no one in the area to cut the windshield down for me. I also was running out of time as I only had this shop for 4 months so had to get everything done in that time.

I say in the near future I will do a C notch in the rear and go with bags.

Thanks. Yea I fixed it and it's level now but I do need to lower it. I had to custom make the bumper mounts out of the stock ones so it should not be to much of a problem lowering it.

Can't wait to be cruisin with this guy in the spring!!
