O.K. Here goes a newbie with a question. Are the hood and trunk lid the same on a 2 door and a 4 door 52 Chevy. And, if in very good shape is it worth $25 for the hood and $35 for the trunk lid? Hope this isn't too much but I have one more question. How hard is it to remove the dashboard etc. from the above mentioned car, by myself, in the waaaaaay back of someone's field with only a few screwdrivers and a set of sockets. Hope this isn't too much to ask. Thanks for any info. Ed
2dr and 4dr sedan, trunk is the same. Coupe and hardtop, trunk is the same. Hood the same on all. Dash is not removable, and removal of the trim and gauges is a pain... good prices if they are in decent shape. Brian
Thanks a bunch!! Now I only have to do half the work I was planning on doing!! Is the dash part of the body? The hood and trunk seemed to be in good shape - but I only gave them a real quick once over. Thanks again. Ed
Yes, the dash is part of the body. It can be detached by a bunch of cutting... but probably not what you'd want to do out in a field... Brian
