Hello, I have tried typing everything I can think of into search bar but can't find what I am looking for. I have a 52 Windsor with 6v pos ground that I got a few months back and I am trying to get the ignition system put together. The vehicle did not come with the starter relay on the driver fender. I have purchased a ford style, I believe, 3 post 6v starter relay to use. I know how to jump the starter with a battery and cables but not sure where all the wires are supposed to attach to the relay as I have a group of wires that run to that part of my fender along with my battery cable. My main question is I know my battery cable goes from starter to one post and out the opposite post to batt. But where do I hook the exciter wire or the small wire that comes off the starter. And secondly where do I hook all of the other wires that come off the horn relay and such. Will post pictures. If this is answered already somewhere please scoot me that way! Thank you in advance

Even if someone could just post a wiring diagram it would be extremely helpful. ordered a chrysler repair manual but it will be a a almost 2 weeks before i recieve it and just want to be able to start it with a key instead of jumper cables. it's a 52 windsor with the semi automatic trans.

I am realizing since my vehicle didn't have the starter relay I got a 6v 3 post relay im not sure how to run my wires. It appears the original has 4 posts one main lead and 3 smalls. I have the two main leads and then just one small lead. Is there a work around for this or do I need to find a different relay?

Alright so I got it all wired up and she starts right up and runs super smooth! One question maybe someone knows. My starter relay has a ****on on the bottom that turns the engine over it won't start until I put the key in the run position which I ***ume indicates it's all correct but if I crank it with the key it won't crank. Is this ****on on the relay overriding my starter switch or is maybe my starter switch bad?
