If you have a Ford... Use Jamco Suspension's new tube front end kit. It works great, easy to install, easy to adjust, rides great!
You might want to search for "Chevy" "suspension" - there are already a lot of threads on this topic. I can sum them up in a few phrases: If your original front suspension is in good shape and you're poor, broke, or cheap use the original front end. Get lowering springs or something to drop it a few inches. If the front suspension is worn out it'll cost a fortune to have rebuilt and go with a Mustang II front end. Unless you like things original. Don't do the MkII unless you have the equipment and skill to install it and/or a lot of money to pay someone else to do it. That about sums it up, right, guys??
I have a 50 deluxe and we used a mustang 2 style suspension from chassisegineeringinc.com it bolts is but you can weld it if you feel the need. Its pretty straight forward.
