I just picked up a 52 Ford Victoria today and the steering is really sloppy. The steering box is different than a shoebox in that it doesn’t have the screwdriver tang adjustment feature. There are 2 bolts on top instead. See pics. I also included a pic of the Vega box in my roadster to help explain. How is the 52 box adjusted?

Join the 1952-59 Ford Social Group on here if you haven't already and ask this question there. Those guys know these cars extremely well. When I had my '53 Customline that group of guys really helped me out.

  3. The adjuster with the slot is under the acorn style nut on the left with the star washer.
