52 merc flathead

    hey guys new member. looking for help on my flathead keeps overheating. changed thermostats had radiator flushed. help/////////////

    Welcome aboard, do a search you'll find alot of info here on overheating,all else fails just sell me your car.(CHEEP OF COURSE)

    Not much of a intro. Check out the others and add {edit} to yours Try setting the timing on your FH. a lot of times the problem is to much advance. This is not a small block chevrolet.

    Flatheads always over heat, I heard people say new aftermarket water pumps from speedwaymotors.com helps pump the water better. And there is a fluid out there called 40 below I think that says it will run your temp 40 degrees below normal, recomended by some for flatheads.
