1952 Mercury Monterey with a Merc o Matic transmission. It's leaking quite a bit. I was informed it needs to be completely re-sealed. Which brings me to 2 issues.

A: trying to find someone to do it - only 1 tranny shop in town and they won't touch it
    B: finding the parts

Any insite to where to order the seals from or on a long shot someone knows of someone to do it near Wichita, KS ( I'm about an hour from there)

What direction from Wichita? Fatsco or Autotran can supply the parts. How much are you looking to spend to have someone reseal the unit? Let me know, I might be interested. I have a 53 Merc with the MOM in it.

    I'm in Hutchinson so NW.
I found one shop in Haysville that said they would look at it. But as far as price I have no idea what I'm even looking at to re-seal it. I told the shop it runs and drives fine I'd just prefer to not have a puddle of transmission fluid in my garage, I also don't want to spend 2k just to seal it if it needs to be pulled to do so.

Get a price from the Haysville shop and if it is expensive let me know. I believe the MOM's could be pulled from the bell housing and leave the converter attached to the engine.
